Waseda University Professor, Dr. Masakazu Kobayashi is a Visiting Scientist at IDEALS

Professor Masakazu Kobayashi from Waseda University, Tokyo, spent February and March as a Visiting Scientist in the Tamargo MBE Group. Dr. Kobayashi is an expert in the growth and characterization of II-VI compounds and other technological materials. During his stay, the group initiated a project on X-Ray Pole figure characterization techniques applied to MnTe and other semiconductor materials.

In addition to exploring New York City, he also gave a seminar to the IDEALS community and CCNY Chemistry Department.
