IDEALS II Faculty, Carlos Meriles, elected 2024 Optica Fellow

IDEALS Faculty, Prof. Carlos Meriles, was elected 2024 Optica Fellow in November 2023.

Election is based on several factors, including outstanding contributions to research, business, education, engineering and service to Optica and its community. Prof. Meriles' recognition is "for fundamental contributions to sensing, spin physics, and optoelectronics using color centers in diamond."
