IDEALS Faculty Gustavo Lopez and Donna McGregor Awarded NIH RISE Grant

IDEALS faculty Gustavo Lopez and Donna McGregor were awarded a Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE) grant from the National Institute of Health (NIH) in the amount of $1.3 M over a 5 year period. The main goal of this proposal is to prepare underrepresented minority and/or low income students for postgraduate studies and successful carriers in biomedical research fields.
